Forming ecological thinking and practical skills in future specialists through the study of hydrochemistry in water bodies

Abstract

The theses examine approaches to the formation of environmental thinking and practical skills in future specialists in the field of aquatic bioresources and aquaculture by engaging them in hydrochemical research of water bodies. Using the example of water analysis from a quarry and the Dnipro River within the city of Dnipro, the importance of practical training of students in field and laboratory methods for assessing water quality is demonstrated. The influence of anthropogenic factors on hydrochemical indicators has been identified, which allowed students to understand the interconnections between water parameters and ecosystem condition. The significance of integrating scientific research into the educational process is emphasized as a prerequisite for forming environmentally conscious and competent professionals for the sustainable development of water management. У тезах розглянуто підходи до формування екологічного мислення та практичних навичок у майбутніх фахівців у галузі водних біоресурсів та аквакультури шляхом залучення їх до гідрохімічного дослідження водних об’єктів. На прикладі аналізу води з кар’єра та річки Дніпро в межах м. Дніпро продемонстровано важливість практичної підготовки студентів до роботи з польовими і лабораторними методами визначення якості води. Виявлено вплив антропогенних чинників на гідрохімічні показники, що дозволило студентам зрозуміти взаємозв’язки між параметрами води та станом екосистем. Акцентовано на значенні інтеграції наукових досліджень у навчальний процес як передумови формування екологічно свідомих і компетентних фахівців для сталого розвитку водного господарства.
