Interaction of Enterprises with Financial Corporations: State, Problems, Mechanisms, Improvement of Relationships

Abstract

Corporations have significant resources that enterprises need to develop. Unsurprisingly, many enterprises are looking at new tech companies and searching for opportunities to reap the benefits associated with their work. They also offer access to large markets where small companies would like to start operating. These types of entities also provide stability and have the ability to scale actions. On the other hand, enterprises can quickly master new technologies, quickly create new products and services based on them, and easily implement changes in operational strategies, which is difficult for very large companies with an extensive decision-making structure. Therefore, each party can offer something that is desired by the other. The relevance of the study is conditioned by the fact that the success of young companies that are actively developing and bringing new types of products and services to the market can make a really big impression. Some of them achieve results that allow them to catch up with the current market leaders and take their positions. The purpose of the study is to consider the interaction of enterprises with financial corporations and factors influencing the improvement of their relationships. Possible collaboration between companies and financial corporations can take many forms, such as an acceleration or incubation programme, equity investments. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the interest of financial corporations in investing in technology companies. Currently, about 800 corporate venture funds operate on international markets. Every year, more and more companies are trying to join this type of activity. Thus, corporations have the opportunity to increase the scale of operations in the field of investment in enterprises. The practical significance lies in solving problems that affect the overall state of interaction between enterprises and financial institutions in Ukraine. Корпорації мають значні ресурси, які підприємствам необхідно розвивати. Недарма багато підприємств дивляться на нові технологічні компанії та шукають можливості отримати переваги, пов’язані з їхньою роботою. Вони також пропонують доступ до великих ринків, на яких малі компанії дуже хотіли б почати свою діяльність. Ці типи сутностей також забезпечують стабільність і мають можливість побудови масштабу діяльності. З іншого боку, підприємства здатні швидко оволодіти новими технологіями, швидко створювати на їх основі нові продукти та послуги, а також легко впроваджувати зміни в операційних стратегіях, чого важко досягти дуже великим компаніям із розгалуженою структурою прийняття рішень. Тому кожна сторона може запропонувати щось, що є об’єктом бажання іншої. Актуальність дослідження полягає у тому, що успіх молодих компаній, що активно розвиваються і виводять на ринок нові види продуктів і послуг можуть справити справді велике враження. Деякі з них досягають результатів, які дозволяють наздогнати нинішніх лідерів ринку та зайняти свої позиції. Мета дослідження – розглянути взаємодію підприємств з фінансовими корпораціями, а також фактори, що впливають на удосконалення їхніх взаємовідносин. Можлива співпраця між компаніями та фінансовими корпораціями може приймати різні форми, наприклад, програма прискорення або інкубації, а також інвестиції в акціонерний капітал. В останні роки спостерігається значне зростання інтересу фінансових корпорацій до інвестицій в технологічні компанії. Зараз на міжнародних ринках працює близько 800 корпоративних венчурних фондів. З кожним роком все більше компаній намагаються долучитися до цього виду діяльності. Таким чином, корпорації мають можливість збільшити масштаби операцій у сфері інвестицій в підприємства. Практична значимість полягає у вирішенні проблем, що впливають на загальний стан взаємодії підприємств з фінансовими установами в Україні.
