An Estimation of the Logistics Potential of Enterprises in the Region’s Management

Abstract

The article studies the method of assessment of logistical capacity of the region. For testing the methodology the logistics potential of Dnipropetrovsk region was analyzed. This region was compared to the Kiev and Odessa regions. These regions were chosen as regions with optimal location of logistics centers. The quantitative method was used to evaluate logistics potential of the region. This method involves the calculation of an integrated index of logistic potential in the region on the basis of geographic, socio-economic, transport, infrastructure, and institutional components. Based on the results of the research components of the logistic potential of the region with the aim of increasing logistics capacity development program, the strategy of development of regions was proposed. Developed strategy of development of the regions allows generate the logistic potential of the regionand ensure the highest level of logistical the region's economy. У статті досліджується метод оцінки логістичної спроможності регіону. Для тестування методології аналізувався логістичний потенціал Дніпропетровської області. Цей регіон був порівняний з Київською областю та Одещиною. Ці регіони були вибрані як регіони з оптимальним розташуванням логістичних центрів. Кількісний метод був використаний для оцінки логістичного потенціалу регіону. Цей метод передбачає розрахунок інтегрованого показника логістичного потенціалу в регіоні на основі географічних, соціально-економічних, транспортних, інфраструктурних та інституційних компонентів. На підставі результатів дослідницьких складових логістичного потенціалу регіону з метою підвищення рівня розвитку логістичної спроможності було запропоновано стратегію розвитку регіонів. Розроблена стратегія розвитку регіонів дозволяє генерувати логістичний потенціал регіону та забезпечити найвищий рівень логістичної економіки регіону.
