Intestinal barrier function in piglets and methods of its correction

Abstract

The intestinal barrier function in piglets plays a critically important role in maintaining organism homeostasis. To evaluate the effectiveness of preparations, it is promising to use a combined strategy for determining specific molecular markers of barrier function, the state of the intestinal microbiome, morphological indicators of the intestinal epithelium, immune response markers, and productive indicators. Бар’єрна функція кишечника у поросят відіграє критично важливу роль у підтримці гомеостазу організму. Для оцінки ефективності препаратів перспективним є використання комбінованої стратегії визначення специфічних молекулярних маркерів бар’єрної функції, стану кишкового мікробіому, морфологічних показників кишкового епітелію, маркерів імунної відповіді та продуктивних показників.
