Abstract

Книга у науково-популярному форматі описує історію міста Дніпра (Новий Кодак, Катеринослав, Дніпропетровськ). Простежена тяглість міста від козацьких поселень XVI–XVII століть, через добу імперської адміністрації Катеринослава та радянського Дніпропетровська до сучасного Дніпра. Видання є унікальним, адже вперше історія цього міста викладається шрифтом Брайля для читачів із порушенням зору. Книга супроводжується тактильними малюнками з тифлографікою знакових історичних постатей, споруд, об’єктів та міських краєвидів. The book in popular science format describes the history of the city of Dnipro (Noviy Kodak, Katerynoslav, Dnipropetrovsk). The history of the city is traced from the Cossack settlements of the 16th and 17th centuries, through the days of the imperial administration of Katerynoslav and Soviet Dnipropetrovsk to the modern Dnipro. The publication is unique, because for the first time the history of this city is presented in Braille for visually impaired readers. The book is accompanied by tactile drawings with typhography of iconic historical figures, buildings, objects and urban landscapes.
