Studying the air flow heating process in the vertical type ground heat exchanger

Abstract

The article presents the results of analytical studies of air losses of vertical ground heat exchangers for two proposed schemes (concentric and U-shaped). The distribution of the temperature field during the summer and winter periods was obtained through numerical simulation of the air heating process in concentric and U-shaped vertical ground heat exchangers using the Simcenter Star-CCM+ software package. У статті наведено результати аналітичних досліджень втрат повітря вертикальних грунтових теплообмінників для двох запропонованих схем (концентричної та U-подібної). Розподіл температурного поля в літній та зимовий періоди отримано шляхом чисельного моделювання процесу нагріву повітря в концентричних та U-подібних вертикальних ґрунтових теплообмінниках за допомогою програмного комплексу Simcenter Star-CCM+.
