Особливості соціальної адаптації іноземних студентів

Abstract

В роботі проаналізовано проблеми, які виникають у іноземних студентів в процесі соціальної адаптації до нового середовища серед яких мовний бар’єр, комунікативні труднощі, релігійні відмінності, культурні стереотипи, тощо. Автором зазначено, що процес соціальної адаптації іноземних студентів базується на сформованості соціальної компетентності, ступінь розвитку якої значно поліпшує цей процес, на наявності соціального і емоційного інтелекту, толерантності, емпатії. Лише соціально компетентний іноземний студент здатен встановлювати успішну соціальну взаємодію, отже вкрай важливо приділяти увагу формуванню соціальної компетентності іноземних студентів. The paper analyzes the problems for foreign students in the process of social adaptation to the new environment, including language barriers, communication difficulties, religious differences, cultural stereotypes, etc. The author notes that the process of social adaptation of foreign students is based on the formation of social competence, which degree of development improves significantly this process, the presence of social and emotional intelligence, tolerance, empathy. Only a socially competent foreign student is able to establish a successful social interaction, so it is extremely important to pay attention to the formation of social competence of foreign students.
