Modern Technological Approaches to Honey Bee Breeding

Abstract

The thesis considers modern technological approaches to honey bee breeding under current climatic and environmental changes. Particular attention is paid to stimulating feeding, the use of “Kandy” feed pastes, nucleus colony formation, and optimization of overwintering management. It was shown that the integrated combination of technological, nutritional, and breeding measures contributes to improved viability and productivity of honey bee colonies. The implementation of modern beekeeping technologies is an important direction for increasing the efficiency and sustainability of apiary production systems. У тезах розглянуто сучасні технологічні підходи до розведення медоносних бджіл в умовах кліматичних та екологічних змін. Особливу увагу приділено використанню стимулювальної підгодівлі, кормових паст типу «Канді», формуванню нуклеусів та оптимізації зимівлі бджолиних сімей. Показано, що комплексне поєднання технологічних, кормових і селекційних заходів сприяє підвищенню життєздатності та продуктивності бджолиних сімей. Використання сучасних підходів до утримання та розведення бджіл є важливим напрямом підвищення ефективності галузі бджільництва.
