The structure of 1-ethoxy-3A,8A-dihidroxy-3(1-naphthyl)methyl-1,3,3A,8A-tetrahydroindenol[1,2-d]imidazole-2,8-dione

Abstract

Aim. Definition of the structure of 1-ethoxy-3a,8a-dihydroxy-3-(1-napht-hyl-(methyl-1,3,3a,8a-tetra-hydro-indeno[1,2-d]imidazole-2,8-dione. Methods. XRD study of the structure, mass spectrometry, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. It has been found that ninhydrin reacts with N-ethoxy-N-(1-naphthyl)methylurea yielding only one of the possible diastereomers of 1-ethoxy-3a,8a-dihydroxy-3-(1-naph-thyl)methyl-1,3,3a,8a-tetrahydro-indenol[1,2d]-imidazole-2,8-dione such as the diastereomer. Results. It has found the new case of the existence of urea derivatives as a mixture of the two forms which differ by the pyramidality degree of the nitrogen atom and the lengths of the nitrogen atom bonds. Мета. Синтез та встановлення будови1-етокси-3a,8a-дигідрокси-3-(1-нафтил-(метил-1,3,3a,8a-тетра-гідроіндено[1,2-d]імідазол-2,8-діону. Метод. РСА аналіз отриманих структур. Результати. У молекулі 1-етокси-3aS,8aR-дигідрокси-3-(1-нафтіл-(метил-1,3,3a,8a-тетрагідроіндено[1,2-d]імідазол-2,8-діону гідроксильні групи в положеннях 3а і 8а знаходяться в цисоїдній орієнтації. Спостерігається подовження зв’язків С(3а)-С(8а) і С(8)-С98а).
